Finding yoga over 10 years ago, Syanne has found the yoga community and her time on the mat an invaluable part of her fast paced city life. Her practice ranges from playful, grounding, curious and strong.
Sy has since worked, lived and practiced in Barbados, Miami, Cape Town and London. All the while cultivating her mongrel style of vinyasa teaching.
She aims to create progressive sequences with a focus on the body’s integrity, strength and mobility. Incorporating elements of Vinyasa Yoga, Strength training, breath-work and meditation, expect to be guided through classes that will highlight your alignment and bring awareness to the body in all stages of motion.
Sy’s priority is to foster movement that is both functional and restorative, in a playful and safe environment. Sy doesn’t see yoga as one size fits all, rather, she offers guidance in what works for YOUR body and YOUR yoga.
Sy completed her 200hr RYS Teacher Training at the Wellness Connection Yoga Studio in Cape Town.
